As one of the Com. who saw Miss Cadwallader last winter, I believe in her deep earnestness, efficiency and faithfulness in the cause of teaching the col'd people - and am glad to have it in my power to speak a good word for her. We would prefer she should not go to Md. and [[underlined]] not where [[/underlined]] she would come in contact with the former officers of Gov't Farms.

The kindly notice and attention rec'd from officials by the Com. - while in your city - is pleasantly remembered.
