Scipioville Aug. 16th.

Mr. Kimball

Sir,

I have been informed by the Philadelphia Friends that the building owned by them was for sale, and they would dis-continue their schools in [[strikethrough]] that [[/strikethrough]] Washington, also that the house had been offered to the Freedmen's Bureau. They intend North Carolina for their field of labors and would like teachers for that place, but I prefer my old school on 19th St. if the school continues. I have been there from the commencement of that institution and feel an interest there.
