Mr Kimball

I have learned the com. have offered our school to the Freedmen Bureau once if you should purchase it.  As we hope you will, I presume you would as soon have the old Teachers return as empling new ones.  My friend M. B. Bowmen writes me she has written and asked you for her old place if you take it, so I'll do the same.  The Committee wish us to go to N. Carolina and I do not care about going if I could get my school.  I'm so sorry - I wonder if I ever can like any other scholars so nice as I did mine?  I wish we had known it before leaving.  Will you please let me know soon if you think the Bureau will purchase it and if so Are you willing to have us back again?  I shall have
