I have thy letter of 5th and am obliged for the information

We are not fully prepared to distribute yet, but I have no doubt will be glad to avail ourselves of thy proposed plan. We have ordered sent tomorrow by Express to the Free Library Cor 5th & E Sts a box with 2500 tracts, (5 kinds) 100 packs Juvenile tracts, and about 100 testaments & psalms

The testaments are for the schools in the camp thou spoke of.  We shall probably have some other tracts soon to send: We are having one printed on Marriage, prepared expressly for the Freedmen.

Although acting for a "Freedmens Association" we do not wish in this part of our work to be bound closely to them, and although not prepared for a general distribution
