Dear Sir - At the meeting of Teacher's Committee yesterday it was determined not to reopen the "Barrack" School. The truth is our work in Washington last year grew by degrees beyond what was intended, and it is thought best to go back to our original plan for the reason that every society is seeking a foothold in Washington, while the "waste places" are neglected -

It is our policy especially to cultivate the latter. You will appreciate the propriety of this course I am sure -
