I had lived with those two persons in one family through sickness and healed [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] for 7 months and I never knew them to do a wrong or dishonorable action. I was with ^[[them]] daily knew them as my brother & sister. He never was ever the least bit coarse in his conversation in my presence and I never heard or knew him to be other than high toned and moral & refined.

He was a natural Physician and very kind & faithful and successful in his treatment of the Freedmen.

Her education had been neglected. So that he was a poor scholar, But he or labor. I will obey his orders. But I will teach in my own time the 10 Children that come outside of Camp. If I have to sit up half the night to do it. My own time is my own and I'll do so as I please in it tho I do get tired.
