Washington Feb. 5th, 1866

Mr. Kimball

Sir

Your note was received in regard to the desks at the Home in Georgetown

We have desks sufficient for the children of our school, owing to the crowded state of the Home, we cannot have them placed in any of the rooms.

As soon as the question is settled in regard to the property we will solicit funds to build a school house. All are anxious for the time when our Teacher can have a room suitable for her employment.

Yours respectfully
Eliza Heacock
