States the Board have offered them nothing further than the proposition of Capt.[[underlined]] Shaws [[/underlined]] & the probabilities are that they will not give a thousand Doll's and they cannot afford to take less.

Asks if the Ass't. Com'r. will sell the building to the Church and if he thinks $200.00 not enough to inform him what are the lowest figures he will take and what time he will allow them
