Esteemed friend.

We have opened our school.  The room is so nice it does my heart good  I had despaired of ever having a fit room down here to teach in. We thank you ever so much for your goodness to us. I met Major Henry as he was going home. He said something about not being able to get our desks made, and that I could get some one to do it and send the bill to you: But our talk was not so hurried, as it was near train starting, that I did not
