Rev. Gentleman of his promise, and by giving him my respects to urge him to send the plan ^[[ink stain in top right corner covering next word]] we are waiting for it and wish to see it before the Board decides upon a plan for our School House which we intend to erect this fall.
In conclusion I would like to have Mr. Langston reminded that the letter you wrote me and left in his charge and which he has shown but has not handed over to me, is my property, which I claim and intend to preserve as a dear remembrance of the writer, toward whom I have every reason to entertain the highest regards.
