I am the Douglas who brought you the papers which you read last summer; and you directed one to Mr. Janny- If we can get the lumber necessary without buying it, we can finish the house this fall - but if we will have to pay for it we cannot finish it - If you will furnish the lumber - the only way that I know of to get it here is to haul it from Whashington through Prince Georges Co - a distance of about thirty miles - or send the lumber to Balto - and then to Trueman's Point
