Uniontown D.C. Dec 17th 1867

Rev. Jno Kimball

Mr Dear Sir
Your note of the 14th is rec'd. In reply permit me to say that I shall [[re-organize]] my schools in such a way and make such disposition of teachers &c as to supply the wants of this Disc't. It is true our schools will be very large, and consequently the work of teaching more arduous, but we will do the best we can, for I am confident the Colored people would not pay a tithe of the board of a new teacher.

Very Truly
