States that they have now a lot in view on which to build a School House for col'd people, on which if the get it, they will proceed at once to build but cannot have the house finished by the last of this month as proposed by the Ass't. Com'r. in order to get the two hundred dollars from the Bureau.

Asks if the time cannot be extended.

States that there is some excitement on account of their Methodist friends wishing to mix up the School House with a Church

Asks the advice of the Ass't. Com'r on this matter.
