Lieut & Supt

States that the colored people of Sheperdstown have a lot and are willing to raise two hundred dollars towards building a School house on condition that the building will not be turned over to the School Comm'rs, as the colored people desire the use of it for other purposes, meeting debates &c.- That he agrees with them in this matter. - At Martinsburg, the Comm'rs have selected a lot and will furnish an estimate, giving cost of materials &c with plan of building.=

Furnishes price of materials &c at Charlestown and Sheperdstown.
