the establishment of a farm school upon the Arlington Estate to afford employment for this class of dependents, especially for boys who are otherwise in danger of growing up in idleness.

Up to the present date, but one teacher has been provided for the schools of the Village.

The self-supporting freed people of the Village and Vicinity have been urged to an effort to support a school of thier own. A small amount of money has already been raised 'tho not enough to open the school.
