Dear Sir,
It was in my heart many time through the Fall and Winter to write to you, asking for a place in your schools in Washington. A prolonged illness in the Autumn and the arguments of my friends kept me still.
But I am very much in earnest in wishing to secure a place there if my services will be of any use. I know that there are some times changes made in the schools in the Spring & that knowledge makes me bold to write to
