Esteemed Friend:
Thine of the 14th & 24th came to hand, asking for two teachers for the summer months, one for Davidsonville and one to Mt. Tabor A. Arundel Co. If my recollection serves me right, Mt. Tabor is subject to Bilious and Intermittent Fever. As to Donaldsville, I am not conversant with its location.
We are withdrawing all our teachers from unhealthy districts for the summer, and if the places mentioned by thee are unhealthy, we feel that it would not be doing justice to the teachers to send them. If thee can give me any information relative to the health of the locations I will be much obliged. We will send teachers the 1st of October if that will answer.
I have just returned from a visit to Oakville school, St Mary's Co., also to Woodville of Upper Marlboro Prince George Co. The school-house near Oakville, and the house in which the teachers board are untenantable in the winter, and unless something can be done to
