Dear Sir:
Yours of the 24th inst. enclosing D.A. Moore's letter to Major VanDerlip came to hand in due course.
Her appointment is but temporary and was made in consequence of not being able to get any other person at the time of opening the school. Her engagement ceases Oct 1st at which time a teacher qualified to take charge of a school will be appointed in her stead.
If, when our schools reopen, we should need any teachers, I will avail myself of your kind offer.
