Barry Farm Dec 2nd 1867

Bvt Major S. Eldridge
A.A.A.G Office Asst Com

Major,
It is now more than a week since I made application for a stove for the School house being erected here, with a view to having or in the room while putting on the plastering.
It is not safe to plaster the walls while this weather lasts, without one.
I respectfully regret to be informed what course to pursue.
If the house is not ready for occupancy by the 2nd Monday in this month or will not be my fault,

Very truly
Your Obed Svt
