General:
I have the honor to report, that five Teachers are needed to open Schools on the 1st of November, in school-houses completed by the aid of this Bureau.

that twenty-two (22) Teachers are needed to instruct in houses which will be completed during the month of November.

that in fourteen (14) places efforts are being made to construct houses, and we have reason to expect that these houses will be built, and and probably several more this season, and they will all need teachers,

In all these places the colored people will be able to pay board, and all the expenses of the school except the
