Mr Kimball

Dear Sir -

Your letter came duly to hand - and was just what I wanted; to make known the demands of your great vineyard, for Laborers. And since it came [[strikethrough]] my [[/strikethrough]] many have appeared who will gladly go out (colored persons) if a salary is promised them. My heart was full, and my courage good; when I came home and I have exerted all my powers, to make the needs of Maryland apparent. I have not the strength, or the license of a man, to harangue the multitudes
