As shown in Table 3, the number of minority women increased from 65 to 70 but with no change in the percentage of representation. Minority women did remain, however, above parity. It is significant that of a total numeric increase of 37, no Hispanic, Asian American, or American Indian women, or American Indian men were added. This calls for an increased recruitment effort of these minority groups for fiscal year 1986. Nonminority women increased from 237 to 251; representation remained above parity. Minority men increased from 62 to 70 with a slight increase in representation. This increase reflects a positive change for Black and Asian American men. Although there are problems with specific minority groups, the representation of minority men is above parity.
