Transcription Notes:
This is a very interesting 10 yuan note from the Bank of Communications, issued on September 1, 1912. All chinese wordings on the front side are translated in English on the back side. ' The most interesting aspect of this banknote is the "five-color" national flag shown at the top of the front side of the note. This flag was was discarded in 1928 by the government under Chiang Kai-Shek.
