MARGO LION (Producer) was a Co-Producing Director of The Music-Theatre Group with Lyn Austin, where two of her productions Poppie Nongena and Metamorphosis in Miniature, received Off-Broadway Obie Awards. Subsequently she was a producer of Amlin Gray's How I Got That Story (Obie Award), Martha Clarke's The Garden of Earthly Delights (Drama Desk Award) and Terrence McNally's Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune. On Broadway, she was a producer of last season's I Hate Hamlet by Paul Rudnick and an associate producer of the current Tony Award-winning The Secret Garden by Marsha Norman and Lucy Simon. Ms. Lion is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Producer's Grant for Jelly's Last Jam. She lives in New York with her son, Matthew.
PAMELA KOSLOW (Producer) most recently co-produced Road to Nirvana by Arthur Kopit with the Circle Repertory Company. Other credits include the Maury Yeston/Larry Gelbart musical 1-2-3-4-5 at the Manhattan Theatre Club, in association with the Jujamcyn Theater group; the one-woman show Mona Rogers with the Hart Entertainment Group at the Cherry Lane Theatre; The Ballad of Sam Gray at Greenstreet's; Topical Tap at the Top of the Gate, a special tap dancing event at the Village Gate; Zora: A One Woman Show about Zora Neale Hurston for Motown Productions; the Obie-winning How I Got That Story by Amlin Gray at the Westside Arts Theatre; and Smart Aleck, a one-man show about the life of Alexander Woollcott, written by Howard Teichman and presented in Boston. She serves on the board of directors of the Changing Times Tap Dancing Company. Ms. Koslow has been married to actor Gregory Hines for 12 years. They have one son, Zachary.
POLYGRAM DIVERSIFIED ENTERTAINMENT (PDE) (Producer) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PolyGram Holding Inc. (PHI), the company that oversees all of PolyGram's interests in the U.S. PolyGram is one of the largest recorded music companies in the world. John Scher is the President and Jeff Rowland and Tom Cyrana are Vice Presidents of PDE, which is based in New York. PDE concentrates on businesses that are complimentary to PHI's core record and music interests, such as pay per view, merchandising, live touring, facility development and artist management. PDE's involvement in Jelly's Last Jam is its first foray into theatrical production.
126 SECOND AVE. CORP./HAL LUFTIG, ALAN D. PERRY (Producer) owns and operates the Orpheum Theatre, the home of many Off-Broadway hits, including Little Shop of Horrors; Charles Busch's The Lady in Question; Eric Bogosian's Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll; and John Leguizamo's Mambo Mouth. Under the leadership of Hal Luftig and Alan D. Perry, 126 is an Associate Producer of The Secret Garden and helped to finance the national and Australian tours of The Phantom of the Opera. This season, 126 Second Ave. Corp is an Associate Producer of the new Ariel Dorfman play Death and the Maiden on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
RODGER HESS (Producer) most recently co-produced the 30-city Nintendo World Championship Tour. Other touring productions include Elvis: A Musical Celebration, Run for Your Wife, Evita (South America) and A Chorus Line (Spain). On Broadway Mr. Hess co-produced Leader of the Pack and Five O'Clock Girl. Off-Broadway productions include How I Got That Story (Obie Award), Potholes and Blame It on the Movies (General Manager). Mr. Hess created and produced The Bugs Bunny Follies, Bugs Bunny Meets the Superheros, Bugs Bunny in Space, Bugs Bunny Sports Spectacular and the Bugs Bunny Circus. He also created the Arena Stage/ABC-TV Emmy Award-winning production of "Pueblo." Mr. Hess' longest-running successes have been Tommy, Julie, Michael and Neva.
JUJAMCYN THEATERS (Producer) owns and operates the St. James, Martin Beck, Virginia, Eugene O'Neill and Walter Kerr theatres. James Binger, Rocco Landesman, Paul Libin and Jack Viertel are, respectively, the company's Chairman, President, Producing Director and
