Doc Byrd and his Boys are being featured every night over KVOD from the popular Tivoli Terrace Night Club. [[line]] Dropped in at the Bungalow Inn, located at l7th and Welton Sts., to hear Lester Grant and his Cats Riffs, a splendid five-piece aggregation that is hard to beat. Jimmie Grier, on guitar, J. Crisp, alto sax., Joe Tate, tenor sax., Pete Peaches, drummer; Lester Grant, piano, constitute the personnel of this group. [[line]] Art Bronson, latest sensation on piano about town, has collected a hot bunch of boys in a fast aggregation and are playing at JoJo’s Beer Garden. [[line]] James Richardson, bass player, formerly with Chan Caldwell's Orchestra, is now with Allen Anderson’s Tan Serenaders. This group is contracted at Joe’s Buffett, located at 7th St. and Sante Fe Drive. [[line]] Hi Talton and His Rhythm Masters Hi Talton and his Rhythm Masters, one of Denver’s most popular bands, is making the Spanish-American Dances famous at the Casino every Sunday night. They fill several out-of-town engagements each week. Romaine Thally, torch singer, returned recently from the East and is now a nightly feature at the Tivoli Terrace Night Club, along with Kid Easly, dancer Harry Marshall, singer and dancer, and William Alexander, sepia singer. [[line]] Leo Davis and his NBC Broadcasting Orchestra, are packing the ofays in at the Airplane Cafe. This group recently returned from a two years’ trip throughout the far West and South East. This group was featured at this same Cafe for five years prior to their tour; Eddie Miller, famous crooner, is doing a vocal with this aggregation. [[line]] Beautiful Little Dot Young, the pride of Denver, is going strong with the show-going public, playing all the leading Night Clubs and Theatres. [[line]] The Old Heigelberg Inn, strictly exclusive, is featuring an all-white band and floor-show with your scribe as master of ceremonies who has been on the bill for nine weeks and is still going strong.
