ST. LOUIS' SPOTLIGHT

that girl can send you.

At the Up-Town Buffet, there's a popular songstress, she's none other than Irma Klein, who keeps the spirit of those to whom she croons high. Concluding . . . . I'll spot you next month."

SPECTACULAR SHOW STAGED AT THE CLUB PLANTATION

One of the best shows of the season, was staged at Club Plantation last week, by Joe Johnson, the youthful producer.

Evelyn Robinson, the heatwave soubrette locked the show up with unique flash dancing. The Three Brown Spots, two handsomely dressed young men and one sophisticated creole looking girl constitute this act which has scored in every spot it has touched. Strange Man, the comedian gets funnier and funnier with every show. Callye Dill, the leading lady, was presented in a tilla number with the eight dancing dolls, featuring that beautiful hit "East of the Sun and West of the Moon". The sensational number of the revue, was an ensemble number "Trucking."

"AFTER SUNDOWN"
M. C. Wright Jr.

Broadway in all its splendor, would be less than a forgotten dream if it were not for the joy and pleasure-makers whose work starts "After Sundown."

The Hi - De - Hi - De-Ho King, the thrilling voices, vampires, lovers and villains, would all belong to the unemployed, if it were not for the joy-makers, who do their stuff, "After Sundown."

There are those of us of less importance - the little fellow, with the fat bank roll; the guy who dances on every set when the dancing is free; the singing waitress who waits and sings the whole night through; the fat man from the south, with the big cigar in his mouth; the little school mom who sets attentively listening as the crooner croons "Butterfly Be Careful of Your Wings;" the old bartender who even thinks that he's a gigolo, still listens to everyone's tale of woe; the taxi cab driver who waits for a fare who has not spent all his dough, and doesn't know where he wants to go; the X who walks, though he fears being stopped by cops who have known him for years; the shrimp man; the hot tamale man; and the Bar-B-Q King, all have a part in this thing, "After Sundown."

"I said, "Little man' you've had a busy day." Now if you want to know the lowdown, you'll have to read the Show-Down.
