ETHEL WOOD, vivacious little soprano, is also an interesting tap-dancer. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wood of 2217 High St. Mrs. Wood is one of the city's leading cosmeticians, socially prominent and until her business demanded all of her time she was an ardent worker in the Phyllis Wheatley YWCA. Mr. Wood is a Federal employe, a member of the Glenarm YMCA, a respected citizen, interested in all educational and civic movements.

To HARRY MARTIN, the smiling young cornetist, goes the honor of being the most outstanding trumpet player of the entire High School set up of Denver and Englewood district. He is a front rank boy in Englewood High School, a soloist in the concert orchestra has been selected to represent that School in the State Musical meets on two occasions and may it be said that he does triple tongue with the same ease as a veteran. His father

H. H. Martin, formerly of Eastern Oklahoma was teacher in the Public Schools of that state for many years. For some years past he has been an employee of the Pullman Co. A property owner, prominent Mason, active in Y.M.C.A. and church work. The mother, Mrs. Martin is prominent in Eastern Star work and church circles and is well known and respected in the Mothers' organizations of the Schools of Englewood.

BERNICE ALASKA JOHNSON MANLEY, the temperamental little Miss at the piano, assures you with one look at her hands, that she is being properly tutored. When this picture was taken she was in the midst of one of her favorite renditions, and the speed camera recorded the minutest details. Her father, L. J. Manley, is very prominent in Fraternal circles throughout the entire West. He is secretary of Rocky Mountain Lodge, F. and A. M. of Denver, and Grand Treasurer of the Organization of Colorado and Jurisdiction. Mrs. Manley, the mother of Bernice, is Worthy Matron of Lone Star Chapter, O. E. S. of the city, and Worthy Councellor of Damon Court No. 10, K. of P.
