Bronzeman Economy Sewing Contest
Three Valuable Surprise Prizes
Purpose: To help modern women dress well

Rules on the contest

1. Any person who sews, and will make and model a dress, living anywhere in the United States, may become a contestant. Single entries, dressmakers' models, representatives of clubs, etc., may compete in this nationwide contest. Grand final fashion show to be held in Chicago, exact date and place to be announced later.

2. We furnish no models, you make and model your own dress, or have some one model it for you. All correspondence must accompany return postage for reply.

3. Prizes will be awarded on the basis of originality of design, you may use any style you wish, but it will be best to create your own. Neatness; dresses ad eby hand are always beautiful, however, machine made dresses will receive the same consideration. Economy; select any material, gingham, organdie, crepe, satin, lace, etc., keep price tag of material, try to make your dress cost as little as possible. Originality of design, neatness and economy.

4. Contestants who do not wish to appear in the grand final fashion show, or who live in different parts of the country may enter a photograph, wearing the dress, accompained by a short description of the dress and a small piece of the material used. (First prize not included) The best picture we recieve each month will appear in the woman's section of the magazine. 

5. This contest is absolutely free to present subscribers of THE BRONZEMAN (perons who receive regular copies through the mail) non-subscribers may enter free by mailing the special three month's trial subscription blank on page 32. All entries in this contest must be made on a special entry blank, published in THE BRONZEMAN, or in letters sent to various groups.
