The leading businessmen of St. Louis met at the DeLuxe Restaurant to discuss the problem that now confronts them, these men are all members of the newly organized Negro Buisness League that us making a fast stride since their organization a few months ago, (reading from left to right) Jessie J. (Third from right)--Is Walter Jones, ace salesman for Stivers Ford Agency, authorized Ford dealers. Mr. Jones is well-known and well-liked among the many businessmen of St. Louis and is given to be one of the most fair-dealing salesman in the automobile field.

"JUMPING AT" CAGE DE-PARIS
Since the re-opening of the former swingland-Booster Club spot, the CAFE DE-PARIS, 3510 Franklin Avenue, under the capable management of "Speck" Bailey, things are really popping in a big way. The CAFE DE-PARIS floor always shows headed by the swing songstress Jewell Bell and her all-star revue is the "talk of the town." The CAFE DE-PARIS is open for all club parties and banquets throughout the winter wtih orchestra and floor shows furnished.
(Below)--Displays the north end of the Cafe De-Paris which seats more than 200 patrons easily. The popular fellow (indicated by arrow) is Lawrence Wisdom who, with his new bride, was doing a wee-bit of celebrating. Lawrence held a real house-warming on last Friday evening at his home, 3918 W. Belle Pl. Many of his friends, including "Speck" Bailey manager of the Cafe De-Paris, attended.
