WHEN 'ELLA' SWUNG AT THE CASTLE FOR THE JITTERS

Over 2000 dance lovers viewed the great Ella Fritz' when Jesse J. Johnson brought her to Mound City last month to the Castle on her first return engagement since the entire band is under her personal supervision. St. Louisians still agree that Ella is tops with the "jitters" as well as the ole-timers. (Below) is the entire band shaking off a few of their latest numbers.

(Below) - Well "Skippy's" doing alright, don't you agree with these lovely lassies who were among the many at the "Miss Mix" crowning. Mrs. Percy Phelps also was on hand and was caught "face forward."
