"Serving St. Louis Celebrities"
THE RAINBOW CLUB
W. Wellington Avenue
Webster Groves

The whole town went "agog" last week when it was whispered that a new county spot "swung" open out in Webster Groves, and after a visit with my camera, "take a look at this crowd" that was on hand at the opening of this gay spot, the RAINBOW CLUB. Chick Finney and his new Cracker Jacks was "swinging" out the hot mellow dance tunes to the dance lovers until the "wee wee" hours...the vocalist, a "sepia brown" really chirped out, she is a new addition to Chick Finney's orchestra. The RAINBOW CLUB is one of the many modern "niteries" in the county for the enjoyment of pleasure seekers. Open every day including Sunday - serving chicken dinners as their specialty. Arthur Stewart is the manager, on the bar is Richard Harden. Doing the serving is Evelyn Monroe, Margaret Cole and Ruth Scott, Guybert Monroe is the floor manager who will greet you on your visit.
