Charges and Specifications prefered against Willis Weatherly, Freedman

Charges:  Burglary

Specification 1st
That the said Willis Weatherly did on the night of the 13th of Nov. 1865, broke into the house of Robert Guinn, (Freedman) and threaten his life also put a rope around his neck and choked him until the Said Robert Guinn told him he would show him the money which he found and stole to the amount of $207 in gold and silver he also stole a Gun Cloth and other articles of Value and carried off.

Specification 2nd
In this the said Willis Weatherly did on the same night go to the house of Dick Wright, Freedman, and entered threatening his life and struck him on the head with a gun badly injuring him.  This near Readsville County of Rockingham, State of North Carolina on or about the 13th night of Nov 1865.
