they find the defendant guilty.— Judgement of the Court that he be fined Forty Dollars; and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant is unable to pay the fine imposed, the Sheriff is directed to hire out the said John Walker, at the Court house door during the term of this Court to such person who will pay said fine, or the greatest part thereof, for the services of said John Walker, for the shortest space of time, not exceeding five years.

Whereupon the following good and lawful men, to Wit: James C. Smith, Evan Hausley, S. M. West, Jas Nichols Geo R French, Jas H. Alderman, T. J. Bloodworth John Watkins, C W Bradley, Whiteford Bowden, James Williams, and Obed Scott, being chosen sworn, and empannelled, say they find the defendant guilty, in manner and form as charged in the bill of indictment.
