Edward Homer being again sworn saith he never saw or knew of Mr Richardson's whipping or correcting said Bagby, and when good reason and prudence demanded chastisement, and then in a proper manner, that he was never bodily injured, or caused to ly up or stop from labor, or eating, from any such correction

"Examines before Court" Mathew Baldwin being again sworn saith that he has heard Bagly speak of his contract with Mr Richardson he expressed himself satisfied

I advised him that it was a good trade and the contract with it, he never complained of his treatment, said he was well treated When he asked for anything he got it, he goes well dressed he frequently comes about me perhaps more than he goes anywhere else.
