15 acres to a hand, from the information he received from Defendant his wheat crop well cleaned would not amount to over 800 bu. witness does not think he raised any cotton, has formerly been in the habbit of raising a very large crop of cotton.

Redirect. Defendant had mules enough to work his crop, always had a large stock of mules before the war, also saw negroes working or plantation in the crop.
