I think that he offered it to Abram and Tom. there were only two white men besides my self on the place during any time of the year. one came during the month of September and the other in November

Dr. W.R. Holt defendent in this case being duly sworn testifies as follows. I had 18 of my former slaves bound to me by Col Cilley. 

I have two very old and helpless negroes that I am now supporting and am willing to support them. The list of thirteen families filled by me among the paper of this case, contains a correct statement of the negroes formerly owned by me arranged in families as they lived together while in a state of slavery the age and condetion of
