^[[✓]] A RESOLUTION OF THANKS UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED AT THE ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE AMERICAN FEDERATION OF ARTS HELD AT BROOKLYN, NEW YORK, ON MAY 20, 1931.

WHEREAS, it has been made through the cooperation of the General Education Board to assemble and circulate among leading American museum a series of special International Exhibitions of Contemporary Industrial Art, and 

WHEREAS, a series of three such exhibitions, consisting of an International Exhibition of Ceramic Art, an International Exhibition of Decorative Glass and Selected Rugs, and an International Exhibition of Decorative Metal-Work and Cotton Textiles, have been shown at thirteen leading museums twenty-one times, with great public interest and general beneficial effect upon both producers and laymen, and

WHEREAS, in the preparation of these exhibitions The American Federation of Art has enjoyed most warm-hearted cooperation and goodwill of designers, craftsmen, manufacturers and other, both in the United States and in twelve countries of Europe, be it therefore

RESOLVED, that the Board of Directors of The American Federation of Arts express its deep thanks for the interest and cordial support accorded this undertaking by the collaborating exhibitors and its hope that their assistance in this series of exhibitions may have brought to them some increase of their already large prestige and reputation as designers and producers of contemporary industrial art, and be it therefore further

RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be forwarded by the President of The American Federation of Arts to each participating designer, craftsman, manufacturer, or other firm or individual collaborating in the three exhibitions composing this special series of International Exhibitions of Contemporary Industrial Art.
