the [[underlined]] Scholars Hats [[/underlined]] &c. There shall be a trap door in the second story ceiling and a small window to light the [[underlined]] Attic. [[/underlined]] There shall be a platform in each school room, size 6 x 8 feet. The [[underlined]] building [[/underlined]] shall be of [[underlined]] framed lumber, [[/underlined]] second hand and new, but all good and of sufficient size  for a strong frame. There shall be five windows in each [[underlined]] School room. [[/underlined]] The roof shall be shingled with [[underlined]] Cypress Shingles [[/underlined]] and shall project sufficiently, and shall have a good [[underlined]] Gutter [[/underlined]] on each side, or if a tin [[underlined]] Gutter [[/underlined]] is used, all the wood work connected with it shall be done. All the lumber will be furnished on the ground and the [[underlined]] wainscotting [[/underlined]] and [[underlined]] flooring [[/underlined]] will be planed, also the [[underlined]] Stairs [[/underlined]] will be furnished of planed lumber.

The outside double doors frames & transoms will be furnished new.

The other doors & frames & windows & frames and sash will be furnished second hand.

We promise to do all the work in a workmanlike manner, and to be satisfactory to the parties with whom we engage, and to be completed by the tenth (10) of January 1867. for the sum of [[underlined]] six hundred dollars in Cash. [[/underlined]]
