KEY UPPER LEVEL GRADES

Managers and employees who hold grades 16 and above and equivalents obviously have the significant role in the management, research priorities, and collections of the Institution.

In fiscal year 1987, the diverse group included moderate representation of White women, Black men and women, Asian American men, and Hispanic men. No Hispanic or Asian American women or American Indians held grades at this level. See Figure 3 for details.
