minority museums are participating. The Rhode Island Black Heritage Society and the Afro-American Historical and Cultural Museum are collaborating on a documentary videotape based on their projects; this will be completed in fiscal year 1988. The Cherokee National Museum is one of four sites represented in a film on museums as community learning resources. The Kellogg Project has also cosponsored several sessions at various annual meetings with the African American Museums Association.

Visiting Associates Program

The fourth and final session of the Program was held in 1987. Six persons spent a week gathering information about the Institution and providing the OFG with guidance and advice on how programs might be modified to maximize their benefit to the minority academic community.
