33806, 33837. [[underlined]] Cyclopterichthys [[/underlined]] species, two specimens

from Bering Island. The genus is extremely rare in collections and very little known save from a description by Dr. Steindachner, which is accompanied by a good figure. Pallas described the fish under the name [[underlined]] Cyclopterus ventricosus [[/underlined]] and Steindachner redescribed it as [[underlined]] Cyclopterichthys glaber. [[/underlined]] Our specimens are, in all probability, [[underlined]] C. ventricosus. [[/underlined]]

33807. [[underlined]] Gymnacanthus galeatus [[/underlined]] Bean.

I did not learn much from the type of [[underlined]] G. pistilliger [[/underlined]] in Berlin, because of its very bad condition. It may be that my species is, after all, identical with that of Pallas, but of this I cannot be sure.

33809. [[underlined]] Hypomesus [[/underlined]] probably [[underlined]] olidus [[/underlined]]

33817. [[underlined]] Cottus diceraus [[/underlined]] from Kamtchatka,
the original locality of the species.

33821. [[underlined]] Pleurogrammus monoptrygius [[/underlined]] from Bering Island, extending its range very much to the westward.

33848. [[underlined]] Blenny [[/underlined]] not yet made out.

33849. [[underlined]] Agonid [[/underlined]] not yet identified.
