Office of Bureau of Refugees Freedmen and Abandoned Lands for Robeson Co Lumberton Sept 2nd 1865 This Indenture made and entered into this the 2nd day of Sept 1865 between H F Pitman of Robeson Co of the one part and Andrew & wife Caroline and Sarah his daughter, Isaac, Charles and Leonard & Ellen by their guardian Henrietta, Herman for his son Frank, Rufus for his wife Clarissa Harriet, Pink Augustus freedmen of the above County - Witness that ^[[insertion]] for and [[/insertion]] in consideration of the said H F. Pitman paying the above mentioned freedmen at the following rates To Andrew wife & Daughter Sarah. Twenty five dollars & their Crop To Isaac Twelve dollars & his Crop- To. Herman for his son Frank Ten dollars To. Rufus for his wife Clarissa Eight dollars & Crop To. Henrietta for Charles and Leonard & Ellen fourteen dollars and Crop To. Harriet [[for? per?]] sons Pink & Augustus Twenty five dollars & their Crop They [[strikethrough]] on their part [[/strikethrough]] agree on their part to receive the above amount [[?]] in full for their labor from 27 April 1865 to date which the said H F Pitman agrees to pay [signature] H.F.
