Office of Bureau Refugees Freedmen &c
for Robison Co Lumberton Sept 2nd 1865

This agreement made and entered into this the 2nd day of Sept 1865 between Robt Inman planter of Robeson Co of the one part and Peter Inman Meredith Inman Caroline Inman and Agnes Inman Freedmen and women of said County of the other part witnesseth that the said Robt Inman agrees to pay the following rates to the above Freedmen and women respectively for their labor during the current year. To Peter 15 bushels of corn 200 lbs of pork & his crop.  To Meredith 10 bushels corn 150 lbs pork & his crop.  To Caroline Inman 5 bushels corn 50 lbs pork & her crop. food clothing and medical attendence. To Agnes Inman food clothing and medical attendence with her crop untill  the end of the year. and the said Freedmen & women on their part agree to receive the above in full of all demands for their labor during the present year and they further agree to render to the said R. Inman true and faithful service as they had done when they were slaves.
