Office of Bureau of Refugees Freedmen &c for Robeson Co. 
Lumberton Sept 28th 1865

This indenture made and entered into this 28th day of Sept 1865 between D.M Cormick of the one part and Samuel Sellers of the other part witnesseth that the said McCormick agrees to pay the said Samuel 20 bushels of corn and 10 bushels of Potatoes with the usual rations of food, clothing and ordinary medical attendance until the 1st day of Jan 1866  Samuel is to serve him with as much respect as in times past to work 10 hours per day to render true and faithful service until the end of the year.
