Articles of an agreement Between Alvey Lawson on the one part and Peter Hedgepeth of the other part witnesseth that I Alvey Lawson have rented to Peter one field the so called willis Ivey field for which he the said Peter gives one third of all that is made in said field except the peas.

and Peter on his part obigates to work with the said Alvy Lawson whenever he wants him for which he the said Alvey gives him the said Peter one cent per [[?]] for cutting and allso gives him twelve dollars per month for hacking his crop of tirpentine trees, all through the season of rasing turpentine  furthermore Alvey Lawson binds himself to furnish the above named Peter with provisons at the market prices  also if Peter should fall in debt to the said Alvey the field crop is to be held
