Articles of agreement entered into this day between Philo White of the first part and Gilbert White (Fd) of the second part. 

Witnesseth that the said Gilbert White (Fd) is to work a certain part of the said Philo White's plantation upon the following terms. To wit: The said Gilbert White is to receive for his labor one half of the [[underlined]] corn [[/underlined]] so raised by him, one half of the [[underlined]] Tobacco [[/underlined]] one third of the [[underlined]] wheat [[/underlined]] after the seed is taken out, one third of the oats, & one-half of the cane if any is raised. Said (Fd) is to furnish enough hands to work and gather said [[underlined]] Crop. [[/underlined]] Said Philo White is to furnish horses and pay all black-smiths accounts &c  The said Gilbert White agrees to repair the fences [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] so as to keep all stock ^[[insertion]] out [[/insertion]] of the [[underlined]] Crop [[/underlined]]  he also agrees to cut and grub a small piece of the land down by a spring
