All other loss time from any cause whatever, will be deducted from their wages. They will not be allowed to quit their work or take Holiday without consent of their manager, nor to receive company and visits of objectionable charactors without consent

7th To avoid any misunderstanding it is distinctly understood and agreed, that said David Barlow, or his manager, whenever for their idleness or bad conduct of any kind, shall deem it necessary to discharge any of their employee's They reserve the right to do so, and they on their part to evacuate his houses and to leave his premises, within one week from the day of discharge. If at the end of the above time, they have not evacuated his premises, it is agreed that said David Barlow or his manager may without farther trouble or delay have the right to remove them and their effects at once, without being liable for any damage, for so doing.

8th For the faithful performance of their labor the employees are allowed Houses without rent, privilige of fuel free, from such part of the plantation as may be assigned them, may keep a reasonable number of chickens on halves. Shall receive 5 lbs of bacon ^[[insertion]] or Pork [[/insertion]] for first class hands, and 1 peck of meal per week, and 4 pounds of Pork or Bacon for first class women and one peck of meal. The employees are restricted from keeping dogs or any other stock or poultry without consent of the manager; It is also understood that said David Barlow is not to be
