6th  All violations of the terms of this contract or of the rules & regulations of the employer, may be punished by dismissal from the plantation with forfeiture of his or her share of their wages.

7th  The employer or his agent shall keep a book in which shall be entered all advances made by him & fines & forfeitures for lost time or in any cause, which books shall be received as evidence in same manner as merchants books are now received in Courts of Justice & shall have a right to deduct from shares of each laborer all his or her fines & forfeitures, also all advances made by him. 

8th  The laborers shall not sell any agricultural product to any person whatever without the written consent of the employer.

9th  The laborers shall commence work at sunrise & stop at sunset — unless in the case of an urgent nature & they be allowed from one & a half to two hours each day for their meals, according to the season of the year.

10th  The employer agrees to pay the hirelings as follows, viz: To Dred Lyon at the rate of one hundred & twenty ($120) dollars ^[[insertion]] per year [[/insertion]] to his son Ferdinan at the rate of One hundred ($100) dollars ^[[insertion]] for the year [[/insertion]]. To his son Dred at the rate of Eighty ($80) dollars;

To Sandy Lyon at the rate of one hundred ^[[insertion]] & twenty [[/insertion]] ($120) per year dollars; his wife Ann at the rate of Four ($4) dollars per month what time she works. for his son Omstead his vituals.
