This contract entered into this eighth day of January AD 1866 between Henderson a Freedman on the first part and Nat Dunn a Planter of the 2d part. Witnesseth.

1st That the sd Henderson agrees to work on the Plantation of sd Dunn during the year 1866 to do whatever kind of work may be required of him and when required and that he will lose all idle & sick time. 

On the other part the sd Nat Dunn agrees to pay Henderson one hundred and twenty five dollars for twelve months work to furnish him four pounds meat and one [[peck?]] meal per week.
