^[[Men still at chimney - was building fence when A.P.A - came down - played about & came in to lunch by living room fire.  Played with boomerang Dr & Mrs Hale called no Dyer.-]]

Sunday - short light in morning.  Invite to lunch no. perfect day. but empty - They came to tea - & [[underlined]] bad [[/underlined]]. Then the telephone and a fresh glympse. Comforting.]]

Break out. Did worms on Pier. Very tired Lay on front step with Aunt E.  Sherman (Mrs) came.  Nap and A. Blake.  Then N. Hill wonderful eve, nice time with him.  Wrote to E. & Uncle Will.  Greene & Coolidges.]]
